You Can Help

The Scottish Rite Foundation of Colorado is established as a not-for-profit public foundation in Colorado for benevolent and educational purposes.

It is approved as an IRS Code 501(c)(3) charitable organization exempt from federal and state income tax. Contributions to the Foundation as gifts and bequests are deductible to the full extent of the law for federal income tax purpose as well as for federal estate tax and state inheritance and gift tax purposes. Gifts and bequests should be designated as follows:

Gifts and Bequests

The Scottish Rite Foundation of Colorado depends upon gifts from you and others like you to do its work. You may make one or more of the following types of gifts. For further information contact the Foundation office.

Donor Society Levels

Foundation Fellow ($10,000)

A Foundation fellowship is bestowed on individuals who contribute $10,000 or more over a period not to exceed 3 years. A Fellow is recognized with a personalized plaque presented to him or her. In addition, his or her name is inscribed on a Fellowship plaque which is displayed at the Foundation’s administrative office. Periodically, all Fellows are invited to attend a complimentary luncheon meeting with the Kelley Family/Schlessman Family Scottish Rite Masons Chair in Childhood Language Disorders to learn about current programs and plans in the RiteCare clinic program. The donor is placed on the mailing list for The Eagle’s Voice.

SGIG Club ($5,000)

An individual who makes a gift of $5,000 is enrolled as a member of the SGIG Club. The first-time donor at this level will receive a special gift from the Board of Trustees and a special certificate signed by the SGIG and presented on a Consistory Stated Meeting night. The donor is placed on the mailing list for The Eagle’s Voice.

Founders’ Club ($1,000)

This is the honorable mention level of donors to the Scottish Rite Foundation of Colorado. The first time donor at the $1,000 level will receive a special certificate signed by the SGIG and presented on a Consistory Stated Meeting night. The donor is placed on the mailing list for The Eagle’s Voice.

Permanent Contributing Member ($100)

This is the life member level of donors to the Scottish Rite Foundation of Colorado. This level recognizes those Scottish Rite Masons who give $100 to the Foundation and thereby have their annual membership dues of $4 waived – thus reducing their annual Scottish Rite membership dues by $4. The donor receives a life member certificate signed by the SGIG.
