Eligibility Criteria

Dwight A. Hamilton Scottish Rite Foundation of Colorado Graduate Scholarship in Speech-Language Pathology

The Scottish Rite Foundation of Colorado is pleased to annually offer six competitively-awarded scholarships to graduate students in speech-language pathology who meet the following qualifications:

  1. Successfully completed the first year of graduate study in speech-language pathology with a grade point average of 3.5 (B+) or higher.
  2. Enrolled as a second-year graduate student in speech-language pathology at either the University of Colorado at Boulder or the University of Northern Colorado.
  3. Recognized as a Colorado resident by the university by the application deadline (June 15); proof of residency is required. A valid Colorado Driver's License is acceptable.
  4. Committed to a career treating children with childhood language disorders.
  5. Planning to remain in Colorado after graduation to serve children in the state. Special consideration will be given to applicants who are interested in serving children in rural or underserved areas of Colorado.
